Here Is How a Booking Works

  • One can use this contact form to request that Studio PhotoSensei photograph a future event/game. A booking requires $150, paid in advance via PayPal (here).
  • A maximum of three parties can contribute to one booking: either three parties × $50 each, two parties × $75 each, or one party pays $150.
  • A booking, includes, at no additional charge, 12 high-res. digital files, split evenly by participating parties: if three parties participate, each gets four high-res. digital files; if two parties participate, each gets six high-res. digital files; if one party participates, then that party gets 12 high-res. digital files. This is a $360 value for $150.
  • In addition, I offer the participating parties 50% discounts on any additional digital files and 25% discounts on any 16″ x 20″ prints or 20″ x 30″ posters from that event.
  • All bookings are schedule-permitting, on a first-book, first-serve basis; if I cannot make the event, for some reason, I will promptly refund the booking fees to the original credit card(s) used. Any questions? Read more here or contact me here.

Ordering Instructions:

  1. Retrieve the short-URL for any desired photo (see instructions, below)
  2. Complete the order form, above with your email address and a message that includes the quantity, size, format and short-URL of each desired photo (see sample message, below)
  3. Click SUBMIT to send the order to Studio PhotoSensei
  4. Studio PhotoSensei will then email you, confirming the order and the total that includes sales tax and mailing costs, if applicable. Prices are listed above.

  6. Payments must be received before any work starts

One does not need to sign up for a flickr account in order to view these photos or retrieve a short-URL to share the photo with others. A free flickr account, however, is a good thing, so signing up is worth it.

How to retrieve a photo’s short-URL

Each of the photos has a unique short-URL, which is what one would send via the form above, to order any photo. Studio PhotoSensei owns the photos and reserves all rights with a copyright notice on each photo.

The photos are free to view on flickr. When viewing an album or an individual photo on flickr, one can look for the curved-arrow icon in order to retrieve and share the photo’s short-URL (circled in pink in the images, that follow). The short-URL is a unique identifier for each album or photo.

Sharing

When photos are uploaded to any Meta/Facebook web service (Facebook, WhatsApp or Instagram) — per their terms of service — Meta/Facebook owns the photo. That is why each Studio PhotoSensei low-resolution digital file (for social media) that you purchase excludes the large watermark, but includes a small copyright notice along the side. Studio PhotoSensei high-resolution digital files (for self-printing), the 16×20 print and the 20×30 poster excludes both the watermark and the copyright notice.

flickr.com, fortunately, respects photographers and recognizes that photographers own every photo they upload to their flickr accounts. That way, photographers retain all rights to their work.

Payments

Studio PhotoSensei does not yet have a shopping cart set up, but orders are processed via email captured by the form, above. A total for the order is then emailed back to you. Payment of the total is made with a credit card via Paypal at https://studiophotosensei.com/pay.

A simple message similar the following sent via the form, above, is all it takes to start an order.
